Evaluation of Research

After researching the convetions of a magazine and what they need to include to make a successful music magazine i now understand the conventions are the selling point of all magazines as it must grab the audience towards the magazine. The image on the front cover will be the most important feature as its the main focus in which the audience can determine the attitudes, ideas, and music genre of conveyed throughout the magazine. I now recognise that the masthead must be in a bright clear font in order for the magazine name to be easily recognised and draw peoples attention to it. The text should be palced around the image of the artist to insure that the main focus is still on the image as this is the predominant feature. The text should also reflect the ideologies and theme of the magazine in order to convey the funkyhouse genre. The text should be in colours and font which are associated with the funky house genre.
