To create my magazine , I had to create a number of personal images for the artists in which i would base my music magazine on. From my research i found that images of artists are one of the main features included on a magazine as they are most effective in attracting the target audience.

As i wanted to base my magazine on a girl band i done various research into succesfull, attractive girl bands around today so i could get inspiration for the girls style of clothing and what i wanted to get across to the audience in the image. I looked at artists such as Girls Aloud, Pussy cat Dolls ect.

I took this and the image below when we was in the preperation process for taking our images. I thought these would be interesting images to include in my magazine to reinforce the theme of the magazine being fashion and how the fashion industry is obsessed with girls appearence. Also in my opinion these images attract the target audience of yuong girls who share the ideologies of living a materilistic glamourours lifestyle.

I also thought this would be an effective image as i would be able to create interesting articles on the latest hair and makeup styles to go along with these images.

In my final design i decided not to use either of these images as although my theme of my magazine is fashion, my brief was still to create a music magazine and these images didnt reflect this idea, so i chose to use the images of the three girls all together to represent the new girl band my music magazine is based on.

I also didn't use this image either, as i didnt like the angle of the image and how the girls were positioned one next to the other. i wanted to use an image that showed more of the girls fun, bubbley personality and relevance to the genre of the magazine.
